Relationship to the Canon
MECHANISM / STATE

The Canon describes states of existence. The Protocol describes mechanisms.

CANON
What becomes obsolete.
PROTOCOL
What replaces it.

Neither requires acceptance.
Both remain active regardless.

Descriptions are literal within system constraints.
Terminology is functional, not symbolic.

Attempts to humanize the Protocol will result in misinterpretation.

A system does not require agreement from its components.
It requires predictable behavior.
